do you ever watch something and think “this was written by a man”
i was up late night watching an episode of criminal minds fairly recently, for lack of a better thing to do. in the opening scene there are these two girls getting into their car in like a supermarket parking lot, not very well lit, in the middle of the night. another car drives up right behind theirs and won’t move out of the way so this one girl is like “im gonna go see what this guy’s problem is” and gets out of the car, in a poorly lit parking lot, to confront a man who was behaving aggressively to them.
so that was the precise moment i realised that episode was written by a man.
Oh, so now working with millennials is the worst because they work super hard and are driven?
What haven’t millennials done wrong at this point? Are millennials cannibals? They crave the taste of human flesh, don’t they?
Millennials are always to blame
“My dick is always soft and I need pills to get it up. Damn millennials! Let’s write an article about it!”
Wait, I thought we were lazy and ungrateful?
Somehow the culture of overworking is young millennials’ faults instead of the fault of, like, corporations and shit like that. -_-
“- or simply to avoid being replaced.”
Millennials are forced to relinquish their employment rights in order not to starve - those bastards!
How are we simultaneously working too hard AND lazy and self-entitled?
Do these people even think, or just word-vomit in self hating frenzy because they all suck and realize we’re going to stomp them into oblivion one day?
Nah, they’re making us the scape goat. Doesn’t matter if we can counter their arguments, they want someone to
My university ran a competition for its 50th anniversary to design a new permanent installation on campus. The winner was a bunch of statues standing in a circle facing inwards and almost holding hands. It’s placed underneath a bunch of trees in a little patch of grass off the main concourse and it is FUCKING TERRIFYING.
the idea is that you can position yourself as the 6th person and hold onto the hands of those two and its a great concept and all but honestly I’m worried that if you do a demonic voice will utter “The Circle is Complete” and then a portal to hell opens up or something
I literally did a double fucking take when I first saw it and where it was on campus because if you’re walking along the main path you can only see it from a distance so you just see these 5 grey faceless statues facing each other out of the corner of your eye and its ABSOLUTELY fucking cursed.
After being rejected by countless agencies who “already have a black model”, Liberian model Deddeh Howard teamed up with photographer Raffael Dickreuter to meticulously recreate high-profile campaigns by the likes of Gucci and Dior in a photo series titled ‘Black Mirror’ - aiming to draw attention to the fashion industry’s need for diversity.
